Luxury Laminate Flooring – Fancy Floors That Won’t Break The Bank

Luxury Laminate flooring is the ideal choice for those looking to redo their space on a budget. Although this type of flooring falls on the lower end of the cost spectrum, it doesn’t compromise on style or quality, making it a great all-rounder for most parts of the home.

Laminate floors are child and pet friendly and resistant to stains, fading and scratches as well as general wear and tear, but their tough nature doesn’t make them any less luxurious. Below we’ve outlined the top five benefits of Luxury Laminate for levelling up your interior design, with the first three focusing on aesthetics, and the bottom two taking a more practical approach:

True-To-Life Details

Genuine Timber floors are hard to beat when it comes to creating a luxurious space, but advances in technology have allowed Laminate to get quite close. All Imagine Floors by Airstep Luxury Laminate collections feature true-to-life detail that allows them to effortlessly mimic the natural timbers they are inspired by.

Embossed In Register Design

Our Keeta, Kalimera and Adare Luxury Laminate collections are fully Embossed in Register, while our Habitat and Ridgeline ranges are mostly Embossed in Register. This means that your new floors will feel as good as they look thanks to ridges, knots and other natural timber features being engrained into the floorboard in a way that aligns with the natural pattern. It is worth noting that our floors which are not Embossed in Register still feature a lovely woodgrain feeling, it just won’t necessarily align with the pattern on the floorboard. This is because certain designs – such as Australian native species – do not benefit from having an Embossed in Register pattern.

Various Design Options

In addition to offering stunning detail and a natural timber feeling underfoot, our Luxury Laminate also provides a large range of décor and design options. The flexibility to choose from such a large range of styles allows you to create your design in a way that perfectly aligns with your vision for the space, therefore enhancing the luxurious vibe within the room.

Low Maintenance Requirements

Having low maintenance requirements may not seem all that luxurious before your floors are laid, but trust us when we say that you’ll be thankful for them when you’re planning your cleaning schedule for the week and don’t have to dedicate a whole day to keeping your floors in order.

By making it easier to keep your floors clean and looking good, low maintenance requirements help provide a luxury feel to your home as everything always looks better when it isn’t scratched up or dirty.

Health Benefiting Features

Your biggest and most important asset is your health, so having interior elements that support it will make your space (and your lifestyle) feel more luxurious. For example, our luxury Laminate floors are low allergen, meaning you’ll be able create a healthier space and enjoy your interior environment without worrying that your flooring is going to cause any extra allergy issues.

Although Laminate may not be the first type of flooring that comes to mind when you think about completing a luxury renovation, this versatile and budget friendly floor option is a great choice for those looking to make a significant impact without a massive cost. PRE-ADHERED UNDERLAY

Good acoustic properties are important both for the health of your family and regulatory obligations. Quieter environments are better for everyone, so our Hybrid floors come with a pre-adhered underlay that helps ensure their acoustic compliance.

WATERPROOF SURFACE

Floors that feature a waterproof surface are a great choice for those worried about spills or other accidents in their home. Our Luxury Vinyl Plank floorboards and Hybrid floors feature an inherently waterproof surface thanks to their water-resistant construction, while our Laminate floors enjoy a waterproof surface thanks to their aluminium oxide wear layer.

In some cases – like with our Luxury Vinyl Plank floors and Hybrid flooring – a waterproof surface also means that floorboards are suitable for installation in wet areas such as bathrooms (excluding shower bases) and laundries. This allows for the creation of a seamless design throughout your entire home – a great perk for those who want consistency in their style.

CLASS RATING 23

Hard floors are assigned a Class Rating based on their suitability for different situations.

When you see Class Rating 23 assigned to a floor, this means that it is suitable for installation in even the highest traffic areas of your home.

Class Rating 23 is the highest residential rating achievable and is applicable to most Imagine Floors by Airstep flooring collections.
