Ikoma, meaning to rely on, is a 6mm Hybrid floor that can be installed in any area of your home. The collection has a 100% waterproof surface which means that it is suitable for installation in wet areas (excluding shower bases). Plus, Ikoma has a Class Rating of 23, so it also suitable for use in even the highest traffic zones of your home. In other words, Ikoma will always be there for you.
All floorboards within the range come with a pre-adhered underlay, making them acoustic compliant and a great choice for those who want a quieter home. They’re also phthalate free and low VOC meaning they can help you create a healthier environment within your space. Plus, all flooring options within the Ikoma Hybrid flooring collection are backed by a Lifetime Domestic Warranty, so you can sleep well at night with the peace of mind that your floors are covered.
In terms of design, we’ve got eight stylish decors in the lineup for this Hybrid flooring collection, so you’re sure to find one that suits your preferred interior style, and all options provide true-to-life detail with a woodgrain feel, so you really do get the best of both worlds.
Enjoy the cool, light greys of Rift Oak if you’re after gentle neutral tones, keep things warm but bright with Bisque Oak, or bring depth to your space with the dark brown shades of Carob Oak. If you’re after a more Australian native inspiration, we also have Northern Blackbutt and River Spotted Gum available, providing both light and dark flooring options respectively.

Floors that feature a waterproof surface are a great choice for those worried about spills or other accidents in their home. Our Luxury Vinyl Plank floorboards and Hybrid floors feature an inherently waterproof surface thanks to their water-resistant construction, while our Laminate floors enjoy a waterproof surface thanks to their aluminium oxide wear layer.
In some cases – like with our Luxury Vinyl Plank floors and Hybrid flooring – a waterproof surface also means that floorboards are suitable for installation in wet areas such as bathrooms (excluding shower bases) and laundries. When you see Class Rating 23 assigned to a floor, this means that it is suitable for installation in even the highest traffic areas of your home.
